Translation Jet ("we", "our" or "us") – hereinafter referred to as TJ – is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy describes our practices and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information when you use our services. Translation data: When you use our AI translation and proofreading services, we collect and process the text and content you submit. All content is encrypted on our servers and we follow and comply with the ISO 27001 standard. We may share this information with third-party service providers (i.e. professional translators and translation agencies), see more under sections 3 and 6.
Information on usage: We may collect information about your use of our website and services, including IP address, browser type and device information.
2 How we use your information
We use the information for the following purposes:
Translation and proofreading: When our linguists proofread or translate your AI-generated content, this may also involve access to any personal data that you may have provided in the content itself. We may also share important information, including product names, URLs and product images, to help our professional translators deliver high-quality content.
Communication: When you communicate with us via email and/or phone, we will typically ask for some personal information in order to process your order and invoice.
It is important to mention that we aim to collect as little data as possible from our customers and that we only use non-personal tracking on our website (see section 4). This is because it is more important to us that you have a good experience when you visit our website, rather than us knowing everything about you and your visit.
However, you accept that TJ assigns you an identification number for the sole purpose of monitoring purchase patterns. However, you cannot be identified from this anonymised data.
3 Sharing and publication of information

TJ prioritises the security of your payment information by using a secure, PCI-certified third-party server for data processing. Please note that TJ does not receive or process this payment information directly. TJ cannot be held responsible for third-party servers or websites outside of TJ's control, and TJ does not endorse the content on these servers or websites. As third-party websites operate under their own privacy policies, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with these policies before disclosing personal data on such websites.
6 Safety
The information you share with us may be transferred and stored on servers managed by third-party service providers to TJ located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). By providing us with your data, you consent to such transfer, storage or processing. We commit to take all necessary measures to guarantee the secure processing of your data in accordance with this privacy policy.
To protect personal data from potential risks such as loss and unauthorised access, TJ uses electronic and procedural security measures in accordance with industry standards. Access to this data is limited to authorised personnel with business relations to TJ.
Although we take all reasonable precautions, it is important to mention that transferring information over the internet involves risks. TJ cannot give an absolute guarantee for the security of personal data transferred to us and any such transfer is at your own risk.

9 Right of cancellation
When you place an order with TJ, you commit to pay the full amount agreed upon for the job. As work begins upon order confirmation, TJ cannot offer a right of cancellation. However, in the event of a disagreement, we are always open to finding a solution that is satisfactory to both parties.
